St. George Marathon

I love this picture, because it shows my mom coming in at mile 16 to hug my dad.  He is her number one fan.  I don't think he has ever missed any of her races (he started to race with her but had injuried his knee and has had surgery)

So sweet!
I loved getting to go see my mom run the st. george marathon! She is such an inspiration to me.  She is such a dedicated runner.  She makes it look so easy! She got to run this marathon with 3 of her other sisters.  It was such a special day! They had lots of support from family members, which made it even better.  My dad, madison and I had a great time running around st. george trying to cheer everyone one. My mom and her sister Carrie also are members of the 10 year club and this was their 12th time running this marathon, so we got to go to a special banquet to honor them.

And then to end the perfect day we went to the St george temple while the boys were in the priesthood session.  What a gorgeous temple.  A little bit of heaven on earth.
